Exam Review

Part A - Critique an article.  Two choices.
Part B - Critique a cartoon - Two choices.  This is just like when we critiqued a film.
Part C - Short Question.  In this section it will be used to test your ability to read instructions and follow them.

We have gone through what brainstorm you need to do, make sure you have that done.  Also, once you have completed the brainstorm, write a formal critique due Wednesday.  Yes, printed out!  Also plan on watching some movie clips while making notes.

You are to take the rules from the school and follow the "Critique Structure".  For the Body part of your critique, you should do a good analysis of the 3 three rules.  Analyze using the "brainstorm" part.  The only part I want is the Structure of your Critique.

Please understand that this is homework and only the beginning of how to do a critique.  Monday we will begin your first movie and Tuesday will be an article.

Due Monday, March 20th

Please complete the compare and contrast information from the "Really Easy" article I gave you.  Set up the chart we practiced in class today.  Remember the checks you have to do in order to have a successful compare and contrast plan!

March 13th

I am not here today.

You have two choices.

First, work on your essay for me OR on your social paper.  Either way, this is a work period for you do use it wisely!

March 9th

Persuasive/Argumentative Essays new due date is on March 16th.

For Monday, have your introduction done.  Also, quiz on the difference between argumentative and persuasive essays.

March 6th

I will not be in school until Thursday!

You are to use these three classes to work on your project.  Use them wisely!  If I hear you are not using the time wisely I will leave the project up to you and simply begin the next unit.
